You can sign-up for volunteer notifications and our monthly newsletter which will keep you informed about any future opportunities via text and Email.
We do not sell our volunteer database info.
By signing up to volunteer you agree that your participation as a volunteer is entirely voluntary and that you are not an employee of Humanity Relief. You acknowledge that volunteering may involve certain risks, including the possibility of injury, illness, or property damage. By signing up to volunteer, you agree to assume full responsibility for your own safety and well-being during volunteer activities. You release and hold harmless Humanity Relief, its staff, board members, and other volunteers from any liability, claims, or demands arising from any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while you are volunteering, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. By signing up to volunteer you confirm that you are physically able to participate in the activities assigned and will follow all safety instructions provided.
By signing up to volunteer you hereby grant Humanity Relief permission to use your likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. You understand and agree that all photos will become the property of Humanity Relief and will not be returned. By signing up to volunteer you hereby irrevocably authorize Humanity Relief to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, you waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your likeness appears. Additionally, you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. By signing up to volunteer you hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge Humanity Relief from all claims, demands, and causes of action which you, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on your behalf or on behalf of your estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
BY SIGNING UP TO VOLUNTEER YOU AGREE YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE ABOVE PHOTO RELEASE AND THE ABOVE VOLUNTEER LIABILITY WAIVER. BY SIGNING UP TO VOLUNTEER YOU AFFIRM THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, OR, IF UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE, YOU HAVE OBTAINED THE REQUIRED CONSENT OF YOUR PARENTS/GUARDIANS.
Volunteers
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Mobile care package distributions for the homeless/asylum seekers every Saturday at noon.
- 1-2 hour weekly remote skill development classes for refugees and domestic violence/trafficking survivors. Must send resume to ali.khan@humrelief.org.
- Apartment furnishings for the families of refugees and domestic violence/trafficking survivors. 3-6 furnishings weekly.
- Prepare/Package meals for distribution any time.
- Volunteer your professional services like accounting, legal knowledge, grant writing, marketing, etc any time.
